With the next Fireware release coming out soon, here are just a few of things to look out for....

- Some nice tweaks to the XTM new update 11.3 - notably you can back-up config files to a USB storage device and roll back from here - cute!

- There is a Hot Spot element added for the Wireless XTM 2 series that allows you to grant access to wireless and set time limits or time outs - great for wireless access points.

- RED (Reputation Enabled Defence) is included free in the Security Suite provided you are running 11.3; or will be available as a separate chargeable engine. Essentially the URL can be allowed or declined in the Cloud based on the reputation of the site for harbouring malware; Dependant on that score, you can then pass the content without any further inspection, or send it through the AV scanner on box to check the content. You add efficiencies in the delivery of content, plus you enhance the security profile by adding a further layer of protection that is very dynamic in it's updates.
