SonicWALL SRA solutions extend secure remote access beyond managed employees to unmanaged remote employees, partners, and customers. A customizable portal will enable users to access specific resources via a Web browser as defined by a company's IT policy.
Administrators can utilise SonicWALL SRA solutions to provide users with access to a broad range of resources.
•SonicWALL NetExtender enables native access to corporate network applications such as Microsoft Outlook
•The Virtual Office portal enables Web-based access to intranet (HTTP, HTTPS), file (FTP, CIFS), desktop (Citrix, Terminal Server, VNC), and terminal (Telnet, SSH) resources
SonicWALL SRA solutions feature an intuitive Web management interface that offers context-sensitive help to enhance usability. SonicWALL Unified Policy displays granular bookmarks and policies in one centralised page, thus streamlining configuration, troubleshooting and administrative overhead. In addition, administrators can centrally manage multiple products using the SonicWALL Global Management System (GMS) v4.0+. Resource access via the products can be effortlessly monitored using the SonicWALL ViewPoint reporting tool. The SonicWALL SRA 4200 offers affordable, stackable licenses of 10, 25 and 100 concurrent users, while the SRA 1200 provides stackable licenses of 1, 5 and 10 concurrent users, providing flexible scalability as needed.
Administrators can configure and license SonicWALL Virtual Assist/Virtual Access1 easily and via the administrative interface, as a cost-effective alternative to traditional remote support and remote PC access tools. Virtual Assist pushes browser-based thin clients to technicians and customers in order to establish a session through the cloud via an SSL VPN product. SonicWALL Virtual Access enables administrators or authorised end users to gain secure remote access of their unattended Windows-based computers from anywhere to increase productivity.
SonicWALL SRA appliances integrate seamlessly into any network topology and administrators can easily deploy them alongside virtually any third-party firewall. When organizations deploy SRA appliances with SonicWALL firewall solutions, they inherently gain enhanced security benefits. Moreover, endpoint security can be enforced by deploying NetExtender in conjunction with Enforced Client Anti-Virus and Anti-Spyware on managed PCs. Virtual Assist also benefits from the seamless integration by leveraging the appliance’s local and external authentication facilities.
