• The Global VPN Client features easy-to follow wizards to help users quickly and easily install and configure a VPN connection. Its simple user interface, point-and-click activation and streamlined management tools minimize support requirements. Users simply enter the domain name or IP address of the SonicWALL gateway and the Global VPN Client configuration policy is automatically downloaded.

Extended user reach and productivity.

• The Global VPN Client offers maximum reach and flexibility for increased productivity. The Global VPN Client connects from any single or dual-processor computer running one of a broad range of Microsoft® Windows® platforms. Further extending secure remote access, the Global VPN Client enables encapsulated IPSec VPN traffic to traverse any IP network using Network Address Translation (NAT). During authentication, the Global VPN Client automatically launches domain logon script support to provide users with remote access to mapped network drives. Optionally, the Global VPN Client Enterprise allows Global VPN Client license sharing between SonicWALL network security appliances.

Easy VPN management.

• SonicWALL’s award winning Global Management System (GMS) provides simplified management of Global VPN Client connections. Access can be configured and restricted to specific networks and sub-networks, using internal database or RADIUS groups. Hub-and-spoke configuration can be simplified by creating one subnet for the LAN and another for remote users. When a remote user successfully authenticates with the central site, the client system receives a virtual IP address, granting the remote user access to other trusted VPN sites.

Robust security.

• Offering the industry-standard security of 3DES and AES encryption, the Global VPN Client also supports leading digital certificate providers such as VeriSign. To prevent tampering, the Global VPN Client also locks critical configuration information from the user. The Global VPN Client takes advantage of SonicWALL Clean VPN technology, which scans remote traffic streams for threats to prevent vulnerabilities and malicious code from being introduced before it even reaches the network. Clean VPN can send you an alert as soon as threats are identified, so that all potential attacks can be immediately isolated and contained.

VPN session reliability.

• Simultaneous Global VPN Client connections can be established to multiple SonicWALL VPN gateways. The Global VPN Client supports redundant SonicWALL VPN gateways to ensure mission-critical network access in the event the primary
  gateway fails.
