The SonicWALL SSL-VPN for UTM solution provides remote network access for users of PC, MAC and LINUX with secure, client-less access to the company network.


This access allows SonicWALL customers using SonicOS 5.2 or higher to have SSL VPN based connectivity as part of their UTM solution! The remote user only needs to have an internet connection and they can access their network through the SonicWALL portal from any web browser.

HOW IT WORKS


A small (thin client) Active-X component is installed on the remote users system and connectivity is provided according to policies defined on the SonicWALL UTM device. All remote network traffic is processed by SonicWALL’s patented Re-assembly Free Deep Packet Inspection engine and other services on the SonicWALL UTM appliance to ensure the utmost in network protection.
