Owners of SonicWall UTM devices may connect securely into their network using IPSec or SSL technology to allow remote working or resource sharing.

A number of VPN clients is included with each appliance and additional connections are licensed on a per-concurrent-connection basis.

IPSec licences are suitable for traditional laptop / pc-based software connections.

SSL VPN is best for clients requiring flexible, fast and secure connectivity from varied devices such as NetExtender, Mobile Connect, iOS and Android.
