Computer virus 'cocktails' used by hackers double in one year

A SonicWall study reveals the number of different malware 'recipes' used by cybercriminals increased from 1,419 in 2016 to 2,855 in 2017. Although, the same study does show a decrease in ransomware incidents which dropped to 184 million in 2017 from 638 million in 2016.
