Cyber Security Predictions for 2018

SonicWall Capture Labs have reviewed and analysed the data trends they identified in 2017 and predicted the trends they expect to see in 2018.

Some of their 2018 predictions are:

• Cryptocurrency cybercrime is expected to be on the rise

• Android is still a primary target on mobile devices

• Ransomware will continue to be the malware of choice

• Apple is on the cybercrime radar
