IMPORTANT: SonicWall Vulnerability Annoucement

Specific versions of SonicOS have been found to contain vulnerabilities in the code relating to remote management functionality. The vulnerabilities are within Wind River’s VxWorks real-time operating system, which is utilised by millions of devices around the world, including within SonicWall’s SonicOS operating system.

Due to the severity of the vulnerabilities, SonicWall has made a patched version of SonicOS available free of charge so even customers without valid support on their appliances will be able to upgrade to the secure version.
